The store is open once again, now that we've all returned from a well-earned vacation!  

We hope to see you at the Valley Home Educators' Conference in Modesto, CA, on July 30 and 31! Stop by the booth and see our 20+ new thinking games, Balance Benders (the great new series from The Critical Thinking Company), and "meet" Fred Gauss, the star of the Life of Fred math series.

Our customers include public schools, private schools, home schools, and parents who understand the importance of teaching their children how to analyze information and draw conclusions based on that information.     • Some of our products are designed to be used as complete subject curriculum (based on national educational standards), while others are supplemental in nature. Depending on your needs, we have books and software to provide additional practice in particular subject areas, preparation for standardized testing, or just a fun extra challenge! Take a look at what we have to offer. Whether they're learning math and logic, language arts, history, science, or  thinking skills, children from ages three through eighteen love our books, software, and games. Adults do, too! Our products make thinking fun and engaging.

    Our website renovation continues. You can now view all games, Tin Man Press items, and the entire Life of Fred math series here on the site, and we will be adding items from the Critical Thinking Company every day until their entire product line is listed. In addition, you'll soon be able to pay for your items by credit card or with your Paypal account directly through our site. Until the payment process is streamlined, you can contact us by phone from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Pacific Time Monday through Saturday, and of course you can still place orders 24 hours a day by leaving a message on voice mail or via e-mail.  If you would like to pay via Paypal, we will send you an invoice with your total. If you prefer to pay with a credit card over the phone, please let us know how we can contact you. We also accept personal checks. Items are shipped as soon as payment clears. We ship every day except Sunday, and Media Mail shipping is free on all books and software. If you prefer to receive your items via UPS, Priority Mail, or Parcel Post, we can do that, too. We strive to keep all items in stock at all times, so your items will ship promptly (usually the same day), and if you live locally, we are pleased to offer free delivery to your home or office.

    Are your children enrolled in a charter school? We take purchase orders, and we may already be an approved vendor! Contact us for details on how to use your school funds to purchase our products.

    We do sell the entire product line from The Critical Thinking Company, but not all items are uploaded yet. You can see details about books and software like Reading Detective and Mathematical Reasoning at  The Critical Thinking Company website. Note the item number and price, and give us a call or send us an e-mail to place your order.
